SURFING's a pastime I can’t remember not doing. PHOTOGRAPHY is something I only picked up due to a hideous hole parking itself on my foot and I couldn’t surf. Both are now daily activities for me however, for the most part I have kept these two passions separate. Occasionally though all the elements align and i combine the two. By no means would I say I’m a surf photographer but sometimes when on the hunt for waves I fire off a few frames. The following photos are a snippet of when my SURFING and PHOTOGRAPHY combine.
A lucky punter in a dream run on the North Coast, NSW.
Checking the surf from down the road in Portugal I could see some one going mad, turns out it was John John.
Landscape, tick, waves, tick - somewhere in Indonesia.
The best day of surfing I have ever enjoyed. June- July 2015 swell, Indonesia.
Drain pipe on the inside, Bali.
I've been to Byron heaps and never seen The Wreck looking like this. With the sun setting and my wave quota high enough for the day I cracked a long neck and watched the show.
This is Kelly Slater, I stumbled across him whilst bathing at a nude beach.
This wave is an optical illusion, unless your a goofy - Indonesia.
Rasta lining up a stand tall.
Moroccan dreaming. Funnest wave around.
Sunrise surf-check on the Mid- North- Coast.
More Moroccan bliss.
Home sweet home, looking very inviting. Left or right?
Wind and swell.
Pat Gudang and a timeless carve on a Winki wall.
